MY MO for reading this past year or so has been to read a really long, dense classic novel that takes forever and follow it up with two or three really quick reads.
I’m in the quick read phase at the moment. Just finished The Forth Bear, which was fast-paced and fun and ultimately inconsequential, and now I’m starting on a Stephen King novel that’s been on my shelf since it came out seven years ago, From a Buick 8.
From what I remember, it didn’t get the best reviews when it was published (which is understandable since it seems like a rehash of his earlier novel, Christine). But he’s my favorite author (and the book is short) so I’ll give it a go.
And yes, I’m reading (and blogging) in bed.
